• The ultimate goal of teaching English in the intermediate stage is to help students in improving their language learning strategies .

• We're here to try to compromise between theory and application . So , we should all begin our work within the following background

• Language is first and foremost a means of communication . So , it's our duty to seek opportunities through activities , for pupils in the classroom to communicate with one another in a meaningful and natural way .

• The next most important thing about the use of learning language is that it is an individual process .

• The third important aspect of language is that it is used and should therefore be learnt in a social context . By individualization and socialization we mean that the speakers should take into consideration , what people have been saying and how they are expected to respond .

• It's our part to provide socialization through group work and to provide situations in which the learner's imagination can play different .
